Real Madrid vs Manchester City Preview

Preview: Real Madrid vs Manchester City
at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, Madrid
4:30am - 7:05am (Sydney Time)
UEFA Champions League

Real Madrid would want to turn around their season so far with this important game at the Bernabeu Stadium against Manchester City on Wednesday. Following the lost on the weekend against Sevilla, Jose Mourinho (Real Madrid's Coach) said to the press "I don't have a team right now ! " meaning the players are either not listening to him or just playing really poorly. He also followed up by criticizing his players for the lack of professionalism.

Sergio Ramos has also spoken to the press and said "everyone is to blame, not just the superstars like Cristiano Ronaldo, Ozil".

It seems ever since Madrid defeated Barcelona 2-1 back on the 29th of August, 2012, the fans thought the team would turn around their sluggish start. After this 1-0 lost to Sevilla, there are now trailing 8 points behind rivals, Fc Barcelona. in the La Liga title race.

With problems such as superstar Cristiano Ronaldo stating he is unhappy at Real Madrid, Mourinho criticizing his players and losing on the weekend, facing Manchester City will be a difficult task.

While Madrid are having problems, Manchester City seems to be better off but not as good as they would want to be. Having lost Sergio Aguero to an injury, Manchester City are now coming 4th in the English Premier League after a 1-1 draw against Stoke.

Man City coach: Mancini was not very pleased with the result on the weekend following a controversial goal their suffered from Stoke player: Peter Crouch saying '" his handball goal was like NBA".

These two power house hold teams will make an interesting match on Wednesday. Although Real Madrid are struggling, I still believe they can beat Manchester City at Home.

I predict the score will be 3-1 to Real Madrid.
